How the Estimate Is Made
The model combines patterns across the hand and wrist with the selected sex. It learned to predict skeletal maturity from expert-labeled RSNA radiographs. The patient’s birthday is used to display chronological age and is excluded from the image model.
Individual bone findings have not been independently identified. Image checks do not verify left-hand orientation or full-wrist coverage. When available, the prediction interval describes calibrated error on RSNA data. Coverage on screenshots is unverified. Reference standard deviation describes developmental variation.
